PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a readily swallowable auxiliary composition swallowable by an aged person or a person disordered in swallowing, capable of maintaining excellent swallowing suitability even when allowed to stand at normal temperature for a long period and useful for foods, medicines, etc., by making the composition include gelatin, agar, carrageenan, etc. SOLUTION: This readily swallowable auxiliary composition contains (a) preferably 85-98 wt.% of gelatin and (B) preferably 2-15 wt.% of one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of agar, carrageenan, native gellan gum, locust bean gum and xhanthan gum and has <=100 gs stickiness when eating the composition. The compositions for foods and medicines are preferably prepared by including the readily swallowable auxiliary composition. |
