PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator having high performance and being easy to install and connectable to an existing wind power generator. SOLUTION: In a wind power generator 10 with a horizontally rotating rotor 17 having a plurality of rotor blades 11, the rotor blades 11 are each covered on some area with a fairing 15 and aligned in wind direction 21, so that the fairings 15 always protect the rotor blades 11 running in the opposite direction to the wind direction 21. Preferably, the wind power generator 10 can be additionally attached to an existing mast 25, this device having an annular bearing ring 12 where the rotor 17 rotates on a bearing and a bearing ring spread to the periphery of the mast and fixed to the mast 25 by a connecting brace 13. |
