PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct printing technology which is low in cost and easy in handling, capable of dealing with various type printing requests. SOLUTION: In the case of conducting a direct print by applying a pressure to an intaglio and a material to be printed to bring the intaglio into close contact with the material and transferring an ink filled in the intaglio onto the material, the material having a receptive adsorption layer 3 for receiving and adsorbing the ink 4 by the close contact with the intaglio 1 is used. After the ink 4 is transferred to the material, the material is baked to thermally decompose the layer 3 of the material and to remove the layer 4, and hence a printing pattern is formed on a base plate 2 of the material.
