PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling house used together with doctor's office capable of improving the accessibility to the house and the office without impairing both privacy and security of the dwelling house side while keeping daylighting of both office and house. SOLUTION: A courtyard 1 opened at one end side is arranged at the center to form a building having a U-shape. One side of the buildings oppositely arranged to face the courtyard 1 between them is a doctor's office A and the other side of the buildings is a dwelling house B. A director's room 2 of the doctor's office A is arranged in a building part connecting the doctor's office A and the dwelling house B separated to both sides of the courtyard 1. One can not come and go between the doctor's office A and the dwelling house B unless one passes through the director's room 2, in the building.
