PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain box for a building, capable of preventing soiling by facilitating drainage. SOLUTION: A drain box 11 for a building comprises a box body 16 with a gradient sheet 18 bonded to at least a portion of the inner bottom face part 17 thereof, the gradient sheet 18 having a water gradient 27 such that its upper surface is slanted. The gradient sheet 18 is disposed in front of a hanging hole 23 with its water gradient 27 oriented toward the drain hole 26 of the box body 16. A finish sheet 19 is bonded to the upper side of the gradient sheet 18 to cover the entire surface of the bottom face part 17. A gradient sheet covering the entire surface of the bottom face part 17 while the water gradient 27 is oriented toward the drain hole 26 of the box body 16 may also be bonded to the bottom face part 17.
