PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fixed electrodes movable to a pressurization position in a spot welding device which slides a spot welding gun along an electrode installation stand wherein plural fixed electrodes are parallely arranged for manufacturing a hat shape work by welding an U-shape work with a L shape flange. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an electrode installation stand 10 on which a pair of fixed electrodes 20 are parallely arranged in plural numbers on both sides side walls and, a gun sliding device 9 which slides along the electrode installation stand 10 by holding a pair of spot welding guns 8 in a way that movable electrodes 8a are sequentially opposed each other against the fixed electrodes 20 on both sides. On a side wall 11 of the electrode installation stand 10, the fixed electrodes 20 are energized with springs facing towards a normal position being retreated from a pressurizing position while the fixed electrodes 20 are slidably guided in a direction separating from the moving electrodes 8a. A pressurization block 30 is supported by the gun sliding device 9 for making it get into a space between the end faces of the electrodes base part of a pair of the fixed electrodes 20 so as to make them drive forward against a spring force to a pressurization position respectively.
