PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of deformation, gap, deviation, etc., during the cutting and bending by half-punching a rib-forming part of a pressed metallic sheet to a specified thickness, cutting and bending the part to a required rib height by a punch of smaller width, and squeezing a bent part of the rib part so that one of the rib parts becomes the same in height in the vertical direction as the bending point of a surface opposite thereto. SOLUTION: Punching of a metal sheet 1-1 to be cut and bent in a rib is stopped at 80-90%. The rib width 1-b1 is less than the width 1-a1 of a punch, and the difference therebetween is 1-d1. Then, the metal sheet of 10-20% of the remaining thickness is cut using an upper die punch of the same width as the rib width 1-b1, and a lower die of appropriate clearance for cutting and punching. Cutting and bending of a sheared root part is completed. Squeezing is achieved by applying a load in the thickness direction of a diagonal side bent in Z-shape so that no gap or deviation is generated when the metal sheet having the rib shape is pressed and lapped.
