PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance positional accuracy of ink dot by avoiding generation of flexure at a carriage guide part incident to fastening of a frame having the carriage guide part and a side frame thereby sustaining the gap between the surface of a sheet and a print head accurately. SOLUTION: An image recorder comprises a frame 3 having a carriage guide part engaging the sliding end 41a of a carriage 41 having a print head to regulate the moving region of the carriage 41, and a side frame 2 for holding the frame wherein an image is formed on a recording sheet facing the print head through print operation thereof. The side frame 2 is provided with an easily deformable fastening part 12 corresponding to the fastening part 18 of the frame 3 having the carriage guide part. The fastening part 12 is more susceptible to deformation than the fastening part 18. |
