<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag device for vehicle capable of obtaining also a protecting function by a pad. SOLUTION: A metal cover 14 fitted with a mounting piece (top part) 17 along a roof rail inner 6 extending fore and aft is provided on the intra-cabin R side of the roof rail inner 6, and an air bag 18 in folded-up condition is stored between the roof rail inner 6 and cover 14, and when the vehicle goes in collision, the air bag 18 pushes up the bottom 13 of the cover 14 to be inflated downward.</p> |
