摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel compound that recognizes a specific base sequence and more strongly bonds to the adjacent base covalently, thus can control the expression of the gene including the above-stated base sequence and is useful for treatment, prevention and the like of a variety of diseases induced by genes. SOLUTION: This compound is represented by formula I [R is a lower acyl (for example, acetyl, N-propionyl, isopropionyl, N-butanoyl or the like) or polyamide (for example, N-methyl-4-acetylamino-imidazole-2-carbonyl or the like); X is N, CH], typically the compound of formula II. The compound of formula I is obtained by separately producing the alkylated section by using duocarmycin B2 (Duo B2) and acylating the alkylated section with a pyrrolecarboxylic acid derivative.
