PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering angle sensor including a lesser number of component parts and capable of thinning. SOLUTION: A steering angle sensor includes a circuit protecting chamber for a circuit board 41 consisting of a lower housing 37 to cover from one side the circuit board 41 to admit mounting thereon of a circuit element constituting a circuit producing rotating angle information in association with rotation of a steering wheel and an upper housing constituting a lower cover member 21 of a rotary connector assembly bearing rotatably an upper cover member to be rotated by the steering wheel and covering the circuit board 41 from the other side.
