摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transfer a fine pattern with high accuracy by pressing a transfer surface to a base material softened by heating. SOLUTION: A pattern 12 formed on a transfer surface 11 for transferring a fine pattern on a surface of the optical component is constituted of a linear pattern radially extended from the vicinity of a center of the surface 11, and a pattern to alleviate a stress caused by a difference of thermal expansion coefficients of a mold and a base material. Even when the transfer surface is urged to the base material softened by heating by such a protrusion pattern 12 and cooled together with the material, a stress generated in a sectional direction of a groove of the material formed by pressing the pattern is extremely limited. Accordingly, even when the difference of the coefficients of thermal expansion of the mold and the material is large, an accurate pattern can be transferred to the material. Particularly, a fine and accurate pattern can be transferred in a wide area even for a resin material having large thermal expansion coefficient.
