PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of a position where a thread part of a bolt is cut, through a simple manipulation, and to always hold the cut surface, orthogonal to the axial direction of the thread part. SOLUTION: This bolt thread part cutting part 1 is composed of a female cutter 2, and a male cutter 3 which is mated with and fitted in the female cutter 2 so as to be rotatable relative to the female cutter 2. In this bolt thread part cutting part 1, the male cutter 3 is rotated relative to the female cutter 2 in a condition such that the thread part of a bolt to be cut is threadly engaged in a thread hole 2 in the female cutter 2 and a part to be cut in the thread part is engaged into an engaging part 33 of the male cutter 3, and accordingly, the thread part of the bolt is cut by exerting a shearing stress to the part to be cut in the thread part of the bolt by means of a blade 34 of the male cutter 3 and a blade 25 of the female cutter 2.
