PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand the spread in the transmitting direction and prevent the malfunction in the operation of a conveying unit by providing a transmitter for remote control with light emitting elements, mounting the light emitting elements for expanding the projecting direction of the light, and switching the transmission by a single light emitting element to/from that by a plurality of light emitting elements. SOLUTION: A light emitting part mounted in a transmitter 30A for remote control comprising a button switch 443A and a right movement instruction push button switch 44B, comprises the light emitting elements 45A, 45B, 45C. In the light emitting element, a light emitting diode emitting the infrared ray is used. The light emitting elements 45A, 45B, 45C are mounted in such manner that the light projecting direction is totally expanded. An instruction signal of the transmitter 30A for remote control is transmitted from the light emitting element 45A or the light emitting elements 45A, 45B, 45C, and received by a light receiving part of a conveying unit 1A. Whereby the malfunction caused by the stoppage of the transmitted instruction signal on the way can be prevented.
