WOODY DECORATIVE MATERIAL AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody decorative material which can be electrostatically coated and manufactured at a low cost while the strength and the moldability of a bse material are almost totally kept as they are by composing the base material of the woody decorative material out of a first synthetic resin which is in contact with a part of the back face of a decorative veneer and contains a conductive material and a second synthetic resin which surrounds the first synthetic resin and contains no conductive material. SOLUTION: A decorative veneer 2 can be electrostatically coated with a good finish touch by using a first synthetic resin part 3a which contains a conductive material and is electrically conductive. In addition, the first synthetic resin part 3a is formed as only a mere part of a base material 3 and most of the base material 3 is composed of a second synthetic resin part 3b containing no conductive material, so that the consumption of the conductive material can be significantly suppressed. Further the deterioration of the fluidity of the base material 3 can be controlled to the minimum possible extent and at the same time, the deterioration of the strength of the base material 3 when a carbon black or the like is used as the conductive material also can be controlled to the minimum possible extent. Thus the proper strength and the appropriate moldability of the base material 3 can be almost totally kept as they are.
