PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly shear a green ceramic product without impairing the flatness and the smoothness of a shear plane (cut plane). SOLUTION: The edge part 16a of a punch 16 is chamfered and a shear force is applied to a green ceramic product by the edge part of a die and the chamfered edge part 16a of the punch 16 to shear the green ceramic product along the edge part 16a of the die. In addition, the edge part 16a of the punch 16 is chamfered in such a way that the tip of the edge part 16a of the punch 16 recedes within the range of 0.05-1.0 mm in a direction orthogonal with the punch actuation direction. Further, in an injection molding die for molding the green ceramic product, this method is used to cut the gate part of the molded green ceramic product.
