摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detachably fit a shield member even in a tubular member of small diameter to prevent machining chips from invading by mounting the shield member on the extreme end part of a positioning/fixing device, blokading the tubular member so that the machining chips can not invade, and releasing blockade accompanying detaching of the positioning/fixing device after completing machining. SOLUTION: An end part machining device 10 executes beveling on the cut end face of a pipe 1 to be a tubular member, a bite 13 as a machining tool is mounted on a bite holder 12 projectingly provided on a main body part 11, and a chuck 15 as a positioning/fixing device is arranged on the extreme end of a rod 14 projecting from the center of the bite holder 12. Hereat, a shield plate 20 as a shield member is mounted on the extreme end part of the chuck 15, to blockade the pipe 1 and prevent cutting chips from invading therein. Namely the shield plate 20 is arranged on the deep side from the chuck 15 of the pipe 1, and the shield plate 20 is detached accompanying detaching of the end part machining device 10 after completing machining to release blockade of the pipe 1.
