PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-carbon nozzle for continuous casting which is easy- to-form and high in strength and controls generation of deposit. SOLUTION: This nozzle is made by mixing alumina/silica/graphite refractory (52 wt.% Al2O3, 28 wt.% C, 20 wt.% SiO2) material, zirconia/graphite refractory (78 wt.% ZrO2, 19 wt.% C, 3 wt.% SiC) material, and a non-carbon refractory material (99 wt.% Al2O3, 1 wt.% BN) with a binder, then putting these materials in a rubber frame in such an arrangement as shown in the figure, then pressurizing/molding them into one cylindrical body by a CIP method, and then burning them in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. In this way, the nozzle for continuous casting equipped with a non-carbon refractory layer is obtained.
