PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bead wire for tire which is free from surface damage and high in quality by providing one roller held by an adjacent unit processing means, setting the position where a traveling wire is brought into contact with the roller to be not on the same side with respect to the axis of rotation of the roller continuously three times, and passing the wire straight in a fluid of the processing means. SOLUTION: Unit processing means are arranged in series to form a continuous wire processing part 20. Rollers 13-18 are provided between the unit processing means with one roller in-between. A metallic wire 21 traveling between an inlet roller 11 of the continuous wire processing part of the continuous wire processing part 20 and an outlet roller 12 of the continuous wire processing part is successively brought into contact with the rollers 13-18 and passed to form a wire pass line. The position of the rollers 13-18 in contact with a metallic wire 21 is set to be not on the same side continuously three times with respect to the axis of rotation of the rollers. The diameter of the rollers 13-18 is preferably at least 50 times the diameter of the metallic wire 21.
