PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the longitudinal direction cross section display of a patient in real time and to easily adjust cross section thickness and position. SOLUTION: A radiation source 10 irradiates the object area 12 of a testee body with radiation beams and the center of a selection cross section image passing through the object area is displayed on a plurality of focal planes F1, F2,..., Fn. A gantry 20 rotates the radiation source along a circular track 22 and a coder 26 monitors a track radius and the angular position of the radiation source on the track. The selected several focal planes are referred to in a retrieval table 40 and the correction value or shift value of the respective focal planes is obtained. A flat panel-like detector 18 is read for several times matched with the rotation of the radiation source and several electronic data images are formed. The respective images are corrected by the corresponding correction value or shift value and integrated with previous images inside an addition circuit and the image display of several cross sections or 3D volume inside the selected several focal planes is formed.
