PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a double-sided adhesive sheet with its tackiness easily controllable at low cost without impairing its designability, excellent in operability, to provide a method for producing such a double-sided adhesive sheet, and to provide a method for controlling the tackiness of such a double-sided adhesive sheet easily at low cost without impairing its designability. SOLUTION: This double-sided adhesive sheet is obtained by laminating each of both sides of a substrate 1 with a tack agent layer 2 and a nontacky layer 3 so as to expose part of the tack agent layer 2 over the whole surface, or by laminating one side of a substrate 1 with a tack agent layer 2 and a nontacky layer 3 so as to expose part of the tack agent layer 2 over the whole surface and laminating the other side with a tack agent layer 2 alone, or by laminating both sides of a tack agent layer 2 with nontacky layers 3 so as to expose part of the tack agent layer 2 over the whole surface. The 2nd objective method for producing such a double-sided adhesive sheet comprises laminating a nontacky layer 3 patterned on a release paper 4 with a tack agent layer 2 coated on a substrate 1. The 3rd objective method for controlling the 180 deg. tear-off tackiness of a double-sided adhesive sheet comprises altering the area ratio for the tack agent layer 2 and the nontacky layer 3 in contact with the adherend of either one of the above double-sided adhesive sheets.
