PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvements in aligning property for truing up the individual rear ends of sheets, and at the same time, prevent a sheet jam from occurring. SOLUTION: A sheet processing unit is equipped with a sheet delivery means 7 being installed in a body after making its rear end lower than the front end, and delivering individual sheets to a sheet intermediate loading means 130 where sheets are stacked up, a ringlike sheet rear end aligning member 182 being rotatably installed in and around a sheet receiving member 131 receiving the rear ends of the sheets on the sheet intermediate loading means, and having such an elasticity as pressing and moving this sheet intermediate loading means in contact with the sheets loaded on the sheet intermediate loading means, and a rocking motion regulating member 181 being rockably installed in the vertical direction in and around a sheet discharging means, and made up with an incline 181a guiding the rear ends of the sheets floated up on the sheet intermediate loading means, to this intermediate loading means side, in a state of being lowered, respectively. In this constitution, a lower end 181c of the incline when the rocking motion regulating member 181 is lowered is situated more downward than the center of the sheet rear end aligning member 182, and further, it is situated in and around the circumference of this aligning member 182.
