PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording medium of superior ink absorbability for both of an pigment ink and a dye ink, and also of superior ink fixing property, blocking property of a printing section and superior rubbing resistance of the printed part and not developing cracks on a pigment ink printing section. SOLUTION: A recording medium is provided with an ink acceptive layer containing an aqueous resin at least on one face of a base, and the ink acceptive layer surface has a recessed and projected structure, and the maximum distance L1 of a projection uppermost section is 30-400 μm, and the maximum distance L1 and the minimum distance L2 of the projection uppermost section are given in the expression 1/5<=L2/L1<=1. |
