PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the hands, fingers and clothes of an user from being contaminated by the unfixed toner in the removement of the jammed paper in the generation of jam, by stopping the rotation of a drum when the transfer paper at the downstream side, passes through a transfer station, and executing the job processing on the transfer paper at the downstream side. SOLUTION: When the paper jam of the transfer paper 2a is generated at a paper feeding part 1 in a state that the image data to be transferred onto the transfer paper 2a has been already writen on a drum 6 but not yet been transferred onto the transfer paper 2a, a drum 7 is stopped when the transfer paper 2c located at the downstream side with respect to the jammed transfer paper 2a passes through a transfer station 6. So that the transfer paper 2c is conveyed as it is to be fed out after fixed at a fixing station 9, which prevents the remaining of the unfixed toner on the drum 7 and the transfer station 6. Whereby the problems that the hands, fingers and clothes of an user are contaminated, can be prevented when the jammed paper is removed. |
