PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a clear quality image inexpensively by a method in which in lithographic printing in which the image is formed on a plate material on the basis of image data by using a printing plate, the image is formed on the plate material by an ink-jet process in which an oily ink is ejected by using an electrostatic field. SOLUTION: The head 22 of an ink-jet recording apparatus has a slit held between upper and lower units, the tip of the slit is a discharge slit 22a, a discharge electrode 22b is arranged in the slit, which is filled with ink 23. According to the digital signal of image pattern information, voltage is applied to the electrode 22b, so that an oily ink is ejected from the discharge slit 22a toward a plate cylinder 11 to be a counter electrode to form the image on the plate material 9 on the plate cylinder 11. Preferably, the oily ink is prepared by a method in which hydrophobic resin particles which are solid at an ordinary temperature are dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent 109 Ωcm or above in specific resistance and 3.5 or below in dielectric constant. |
