PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system utilizing an Internet in which it is possible to enjoy games jointly with more users and a game machine connectable to the Internet. SOLUTION: It is possible for a user 17 using a game machine, to access to a server 13 by three methods. First, communications are directly performed between the user 17 and the server 13, for example, by making a call directly to the server 13. Second, access is made to the server 13 through the use of free dial or a web via a web accounting server 14. Third, connection is established via an access point 18 of an Internet service provider(ISP), and access is made to the server 13 via a reception server user database 11. It is possible to exchange the best scores, to have matches, and to watch games. It is possible to perform mailing and chatting as well in this system.
