<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of self-excited vibration in a high frequency region. SOLUTION: An electric motor-driven power steering device comprises a torque sensor detecting torque applied to a steering shaft, electric motor 30 giving steering assist force, phase compensator 22 compensating a phase relating to a torque sensor output, and a driver 26 driving the electric motor 30 based on an output of the phase compensator 22. The torque sensor 12 has high rigidity relating to a rotational direction of the steering shaft 10. The phase compensator 22, using a gain smaller than a prescribed value in a low frequency region and larger than the prescribed value in a high frequency region, compensates the phase relating to the output of the torque sensor 12.</p> |
