PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain sufficient joint strength by installing a connecting means connecting mutual joint bodies under the state, in which the pipy joint bodies buried into hole sections formed to wood and the exposed end faces of the joint bodies are abutted mutually. SOLUTION: A longitudinal hole 21 is formed to a beam 20 in approximately the axial center direction from the butt end face 20 of the beam 2, and a cross- sectional hole 31 is bored to a through-column 3 in the orthogonal direction to the fibrous direction of wood. A pipy joint body 4 is inserted into both holes 21, 31, and fixed with adhesives 5. A helical groove 41 is formed to the outer circumferential surface of the joint body 4 so that adhesives 5 are spread all over to the joint body 4 and the whole openings of each hole. When the beam 2 and the column 3 are connected, a bolt 45 is inserted from the cross-sectional hole 31 side under the state, in which the end faces 40, 40 of the joint bodies 4, 4 are abutted mutually, and screwed to a female screw 43 formed into the joint body 4 on the longitudinal hole 21 side, and clamped. Accordingly, strength just in case of the joining of steel frames can be obtained.
