PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a welding machine which drastically reduces sticking of a molten metal spatter, enables a continuous fusion for a long period and is superior in durability by covering both sides of a rotary gear with rotor covers composed of a ceramics whose anti-heating impact value and heat conductivity are given values or more. SOLUTION: Both sides of a rotor gear are covered with a ceramics rotor cover whose anti-heating impact propertyΔT is 200 deg.C or more, heat conductivity is 5 W/m.K or more. Surface roughness Ra of the rotor cover is preferable to be 7μm or less. When gears 7 are rotated by a driving means, the rotary gear 4 is rotated and a tip end of a welding electrode 6 is rotatably moved on the inner radius of a through hole 5a. End faces of pipes 3, 3 are inserted into the through hole 5a from both sides for butting, and welded with the welding electrode 6 while ratatably moving along the periphery of the pipe 3 by rotation of the rotor gear 4. The pipe 3 is inserted into the through hole 5a and is kept holding. While the molten metal spatter is scattered, a ceramics made rotator cover prevents sticking of the molten metal and has a good durability.
