PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image, which makes it possible for observer to analyze the image with a method that is easy and quite obvious, on a display monitor by displaying at least two images which have optional directions of image plane each other in three-dimensional examination area on a display monitor simultaneously. SOLUTION: Many markings M are displayed in a plotted-line form in each image A, B, C. Those lines indicate the directions of respective reference images, which is related to the images displaying the lines, and which are appropriated by the lines. The image planes of all three images cross each other in a three dimensional space. It is possible for a medical staff to recognize how the images A, B, C cross relatively by using the lines a, b, c. Though the images A, B, C are projected images which are seen in the visual axis direction passing the three-dimensional examination area, it is possible for the medical staff to select the image for displaying, for example, using one of control means 8, 12.
