<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the danger of abrasion and seizure when the loading capacity of a bearing is enhanced by increasing the quantity of lubricant to be fed to the contact surface of each roller with a flange part. SOLUTION: A small and a large flange part 32 and 33 are projected out of both the end parts in the axial direction C of an inner race consisting of a tapered roller bearing, and spiral shaped through grooves 32a and 33a are formed in these flange parts in the direction indicated by an arrow head B. When the inner race 30 is relatively rotated in the direction indicated by an arrow head A with respect to lubricant, a flow of lubricant penetrating through the through grooves 32a and 33a in the direction indicated by an arrow head B, is formed, the quantity of lubricant can thereby by increased, which flows from the small flange 23 side to the large flange 33 side along the outer circumferential surface of the inner race 30.</p> |
