<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail whose height can be varied easily and freely and a method for constructing the same. SOLUTION: For construction of a handrail 10 having a handrail coping 20 placed along a structural skeleton 2 such as the spandrel wall of a balcony and support 30 placed between the handrail coping 20 and the structural skeleton 2 to support the handrail coping 20, a plurality of support forming members 31, 32 for forming the support 30 are prepared. At least one of the support forming members 31, 32 is selected according to the interval at which the handrail coping 20 and the structural skeleton 2 are installed to form the support 30.</p> |
