<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of a torque fluctuation even when a steering speed is changed. SOLUTION: This steering device transmits rotation of a steering wheel as the displacement of a steering direction to a tie rod through a steering gear, and has an electric motor additionally applying auxiliary force assisting steering force between the steering wheel and the steering gear, and sets stroke ratio of the steering gear, which is a displacement amount of the tie rod relating to a steering angle of the steering wheel, small when the steering angle is large as compared with when the steering angle is small. Here, the stroke ratio Rst is set so as to increase maximum steering force according to increasing of the steering angle, for instance, so as to satisfy a relationδ(F.Rst)/δMA>0 when assuming MA for steering angle and F for tie rod shaft force.</p> |
