PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a house capable of enhancing a sense of symbiosis between human being and a car by extending the rear end of a garage located in adjacent to an entry hall to the same position of the rear end of the entry hall and by partitioning with a glass wall surface having a contact way between the garage and the entry hall. SOLUTION: A garage 1 is arranged at the west side of a first floor of a building, and adjacently an entry hall 2 is located. An area 3 laid with wood floor boards is located continuously at the deepest portion of the garage, a wooden shutter 1a is provided at the garage entrance, the level of the car entrance is made higher than the surface of the site thereby providing a level difference. Glass windows 1b, 3a are arranged in the wall of the garage 1 and the wall in the area finished with wooden boards for securing natural lighting. A double swing door 2a is provided at the entrance, and unfloored part 2b at the entrance is extended to the rear up to the area 3 with wooden boards. A space between the entry hall 2 and the area 3 with wooden boards is partitioned with a glass wall 4 and a glass door 5, so that inside of the garage 1 can be seen and checked through glass and be accessible. In this way, the parking area can be turned into a light, open space thereby enhancing the accessibility and crime prevention.
