PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject oil agent usable to a blade saw high efficiently and high accurately cut processing a ductile material having high hardness by using a free abrasive grain by making pH at a specific temperature to be within a specific range. SOLUTION: This water soluble oil agent for cut processing of a ductile material (preferably ingot of silicon) having pH 5.0-8.0 at 20 deg.C. Preferably, the water soluble oil agent contains (A) at least one kind of a blocked type polyalkylene glycol such as formula I (a) and (c) are each 1-100; and (b) is 10-100}, formula II (d) and (h) are each 1-30; (e) and (g) are each 1-100; and (f) is 10-200}, formula III (i) and (k) are each 1-100; and (j) is 10-200}, etc. Preferably, a total of contents of the component A is 3-97 wt.%. Preferably, the agent further contains (B) a 6-12C linear mono- or dicarboxylic acid, (C) a 6-30C branched mono- or dicarboxylic acid and (D) a basic substance in an amount required for neutralizing and water-solubilizing the components B and C. |
