摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and accurately create a cutting program by corresponding to a shape of a cut material and an installation position of the cut material on the cut material installation face in a cutting machine for cutting the material with a cutting head movable along the cut material installation face of a cutting fix board. SOLUTION: This cutting machine 1 is equipped with a non-contact type distance sensor 10 for sensing projections and depressions on a cut material installation face 3 of a cutting fix board 4 by measuring a distance from a given measuring reference position, and an outline recognition mechanism for recognizing the outline of the cut material 17 installed on the cut material installation face 3 from the sensing data by the distance sensor 10.
