PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectualized welding gun and various implementable methods using it. SOLUTION: This welding gun 1 is equipped with a sensor 23 on a fixed side part 20. Mechanical impedance of the fixed side part 20 may be remained at small and is set in an area where a fixed side welding chip 21 force and its position can be effectively detected. A prolixity sensor measuring system is constituted in cooperation with a sensor 13 of a movable side part 10. By using the welding gun 1, a sensor correction method (reference point and pressurizing gain correction), a weld dust generation restriction controlling method, a re-welding feedback control, a welding strength control method, a work distance shortening control method, a welding robot track correction method, a welding dot position accuracy variation management method can be implemented.
