PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper discharge device in a large-sized printer capable of smoothly discharging long printed matter on a sheet unfolded on a front surface floor of a printer body. SOLUTION: On a middle area in a longitudinal direction of a sheet 53, a first bag-shaped storage part 57 formed under the sheet 53 is formed by sewing the sheet 53 in a width direction. On a base end side of the sheet 53 from a width directional sewn part 55, a second storage part 66 is formed between ring-shaped entrance parts 65 formed by fixing only both ends in the width direction of a sheet part 61 making the first storage part 57 at a sheet part which is closer to the base end than the width directional sewn part 55. A first holding bar 37 is inserted in the first storage part 57, and a second holding bar 39 is inserted in the second storage part 66. Furthermore, the width directional sewn part 55 is made to be located at a just lower position on a front end side of the sheet 53 than the second holding bar 39.
