PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair tire good in cushioning properties and gentle for a body of user. SOLUTION: A flat contact surface 1a of width (d) of 1/2-1/3 of a tire width W is formed on a tread part of a tire 1. For example, the tire 1 has 3-4 cm tire width W and 1.5-2 cm width (d) of the flat contact surface 1a. Also a height (h) of the flat contact surface 1a is 0.5-1 cm. Accordingly, rowing force can be reduced and the tire gentle for a body of user with good cushioning properties is provided.
