PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a print efficiently by providing a print forming unit, and a medium recorder for recording an image data and print forming information on a readable recording medium thereby facilitating taking out of the image data and the print forming information in the print forming unit. SOLUTION: An operator operates the operating section 19 of a medium recorder 10 to input information concerning to the type of a recording medium readable by a print forming unit 20 and that information is stored in a microcomputer 12. When a recording medium acceptable for the print forming unit 20 is an FD, for example, the operator sets the FD in an FD slot provided in the medium recorder 10 and writes an image data and print forming information input onto the FD. The FD is carried to the print forming unit 20 and set in a corresponding FD slot and then the image data and print forming information are read out therefrom and printed.
