PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently suck and move a prismatic body of only a prismatic body column with a given length from prismatic body columns, by placing a partitioning plate for forming a negative pressure chamber in a container- shaped suction head body, forming the negative pressure chamber with the partitioning plate, and connecting a suction device to the negative pressure chamber. SOLUTION: A downward opening recessed part 11 engaging with a prismatic body, namely sucked matter is formed in a bottom wall of an suction head body 1, and a suction opening 2 is formed in the top of this recessed part 11. Two partitioning plates 3a, 3b for partitioning inside of the suction head body 1 are movably arranged in the longitudinal axial line direction of the suction head body 1, and two ball screw shafts 4a, 4b extending in the longitudinal axial line direction of the suction head body 1 are arranged. A space formed between the both partitioning plates 3a, 3b defines a negative pressure chamber 7, and a suction device 8 is connected with this negative pressure chamber 7 through a suction pipe 9.
