PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cement inorganic plate free from the generation of a concave warp by making a green sheet formed of cement slurry in such a manner that the center part in the width direction of the green sheet is thicker than the lateral end part and pressing the green sheet to cut it in the center part of the width direction after curing. SOLUTION: A green sheet 1 formed of cement slurry is made in such a manner that the thickness (t1) of the center part in the width direction is larger than the thickness (t2) of the lateral end part. After pressing the green sheet 1, a specified number of the green sheets are stacked and cured. Next the inorganic plate 2 is cut in the center part 2a of its width direction to obtain a finished product 3. Consequently, the finished product 3 is in such a finish state that the surface is almost smooth or is slightly warped convexly even in the worst case. Further, a density difference is generated between the center part and the lateral end part, in the width direction, of the green sheet 1 after pressing. This density difference is reflected in the quality of the finished product 3. For this reason, the thickness distribution of the green sheet 1 during its making is properly decided so that the quality of the finished product 3 falls within its specified range.
