PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hold and carry a person to be held whose arms and legs are disabled even by one holding person. SOLUTION: This holding tool by which the holding person P2 and the person P1 to be held face each other and holding is performed is provided with a cover body 1 for covering the person P1 to be held from a back part to a hip part, a pair of belt-like fixed side members 2A extended from the cover body 1 with length to respectively pass through the respective underarm parts of the person P1 to be held and reach from the respective shoulder parts of the holding person P2 to the back part, a pair of belt-like adjustment side members 2B extended from the cover body 1 with the length to pass through the crotch part of the person P1 to be held, reach from the respective underarm parts of the holding person P2 to the back part and be crossed, a connection member 4 for connecting the fixed side members 2A and the adjustment side members 2B at the back part of the holding person P2, a length adjustment part 5 capable of varying the length in the adjustment side members 2B, a belt-like second supporting belt 3 with the length to hook a middle part to the neck rear part of the holding person P2 and make both end parts reach both waist parts of the person P1 to be held, the connection member for connecting both end parts of the second supporting belt 3 to the parts equivalent to both waist parts of the person P1 to be held in the cover body 1 and the length adjustment part capable of varying the length in the second supporting belt 3.
