PRODUCTION OF ARTIFICIAL ZEOLITE USING COMBUSTION ASH FROM REFUSE-SOLIDIFIED FUEL AS RAW MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce artificial zeolite having quality suitable for each use as artificial zeolite has wide range of uses according to difference in quality, in consideration of the fact that ash from the combustion of refuse-solidified fuel(RDF) is considered to be useful for only limited products such as aggregate for concrete though the production of refuse-solidified fuel(RDF) as the effective utilization of combustible waste of municipal refuse is been carried out. SOLUTION: When producing artificial zeolite by the heat treatment of ash from the combustion of RDF in an alkaline solution, the method is to add glass and diatomaceous earth to the ash for the purpose of improving the quality of the artificial zeolite. The alkaline solution is 2-4 N sodium hydroxide aqueous solution.
