The invention concerns a gland comprising: a tubular body (2) with an internal passage (17, 23), having at least an external thread (8) whereon is screwed a cap (4) with central opening (26) and conical internal bearing surface (25); a crown, axially locked, clamping teeth radially deformable inwards when the cap is screwed on (4) by the co-operation of the ends between said teeth (11) and the conical bearing surface (25) of said cap (4); an elastically deformable sealing ring (3) arranged in the toothed crown; the teeth (11) are shaped in the form of thick trapeziums whereof the wider base (12) is linked by an external tapering (14) to the base (10) of the crown, and the edges (20) of the neighbouring teeth (11) are attached to each other by a thin runout (21) substantially as high as the teeth (11). |
