PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic substrate, capable of preventing the breakage of a carrier film and inhibiting the swelling of a green sheet around a through-hole on the formation of the through-hole by a laser processing method by adding a pigment excluding carbon black as a UV light-absorbing agent to the green sheet which is formed on a carrier film and has a high glass component content. SOLUTION: This method for producing a ceramic substrate comprises forming a green sheet comprising a ceramic aggregate, glass components, a binder and a pigment excluding carbon black as a laser light absorber on a carrier film comprising a resin, forming a through-hole in the green sheet by a laser heating method, forming a conductor pattern on the surface of the green sheet to fill the through-hole with the conductor, removing the carrier film, laminating the green sheet to the other green sheet, pressing and bonding the laminate, and then sintering the laminate. The glass components are preferably contained in an amount of >=80 vol.% based on the total amount of the ceramic aggregate and the glass component, and the pigment is desirably contained in an amount of 0.0001-1 wt.%. |
