PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for obtaining peripheral meat of the neck bone of poultry. SOLUTION: A method for obtaining the meat 2 around and neck bone of a bird 6. A pair of cramping bodies 3 are formed. The mutually opposing sides of the cramping bodies 3 have each a recess, and the recess is formed so that the size of a hole formed by compound both the opposing sides is almost equal to the diameter of the neck bone. The neck bone part 6e of poultry is cramped by the cramping bodies 3, a pressing power is applied on the cramping bodies 3 in such a state that both the recesses 4 are opposing to each other to make the meat 2 around the neck bone protrude outside from the gaps between the recesses. The protruding meat 2 is cut with appropriate cutters 5, and thus the peripheral meat of the neck bone is taken out.
