PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide exterior trim member supporting hardware allowing easy construction work and being lightweight and excellent in earthquake resistance and an exterior wall structure of a building which is constructed by outer heat insulating method using the supporting hardware. SOLUTION: Exterior trim member supporting hardware comprises a supporting bolt 1 for supporting an exterior trim member and a reinforcement member 2. The reinforcement member 2 includes a baseplate 20 fixed to a wall surface while abutting thereto, a bracing plate 21 projected from the baseplate 20 at almost right angles, and an exterior trim member locking plate 22 provided on one side of the bracing plate 21, the reinforcing member 2 distributing moment loads at the end of the supporting bolt 1 to the wall surface of a skeletal wall 4. The exterior wall structure of a building comprises the skeletal wall 4 made of concrete or ALC, a heat insulating material 5, and the exterior trim member including a longitudinal furring strip 6e supported by the supporting hardware.
