PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded product of an intermediate density fiberboard with a curved face having a specific curvature radius and a method for processing the molded product. SOLUTION: An intermediate density fiberboard 1 cut to an appropriate shape is thermally treated for 10-30 min using an overheated steam at 110-120 deg.C and then is immediately loaded in the top force 2 and the bottom force 3 of a hot press mold with a curved face having a curvature radius 50-15 times the thickness of the board 1. Further the fiberboard 1 is gradually pressurized in the initial stage until la specified pressure is reached, under conditions such as 10-40 kg/cm2 pressure and 120-250 deg.C temperature, and then continues to be pressurized for some time but at an accelerated tempo and at the same time, is clamped to be molded. As soon as the fiberboard 1 is freed from the hot pressing process, it is exposed to cold air at 5 deg.C or less through a quenching step to obtain a finished product.
