PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pigment useful for color printing with a beautiful and stable color tone of a plain color such as blue, green, yellow or the like, for an ink for coating, a filler, a coating material and the like and to apply to prevention of forgery of a printed matter by forming plural coating films on a substrate particle and using a fluorescent multilayered film-coated powder containing a fluorescent substance in at least one layer thereof. SOLUTION: A substrate for a multilayered film-coated powder is not particularly limited and a powder having various characteristics such as magnetism, ferroelectricity, conductivity or the like can be employed. There can be exemplified metals, metal compounds, organic matters, inorganic matters and the like. A substrate particle is coated with layers each having a refractive index and a layer thickness suitably chosen to color the substrate by the interference colors by employing plural coating layers having different refractive indices from one another. Preferably, the materials to constitute each coating layer are selected optionally from inorganic metal compounds, metals or alloys, or organic matters. This multilayered film-coated powder can be imparted with five kinds of discriminating functions by means of visible rays, non-visible rays, fluorescence and magnetism. |
